But for those who DON'T have that intervention for whatever reasons, or can still get around it, why isn't it just safer for them and everyone else to simply NOT be out walking around others? I don't mean execution, and I'm not trying to open a big can of worms, it's just frustrating and there's no easy solution in practice, and I miss my friend who was taken well before her time by what ended up being, essentially, a potentially rabid animal still allowed to roam the streets.

So sorry to here about your friend, whos life was taken by someone suffering from schizophrenia, i understand your anger, it is matched by mine at those who claim to be hearing voices as a get out of jail card, very hard to fool phsychitrists, but of course it has been done, and some poor soul pays the price. The excuse we hear all the time from the authorities, they dont have the money or beds for Mentally ill patients, not much comfort for people whos loved ones have been killed...Some should not ever be let out of secure hospitals, that's a given. how do you monitor a homeless schizophrenic, rely on his good will ! ?.. It is indeed a can of worms as you say my friend.

Look into the judge. She was basically making money off of him. She is a co-owner of Pinnacle Recovery Services.
