7:42 at night, completely dark, and hes biking across what appears to be a four lane highway. I don't put too much blame on the officer.

God question, what is a 10 year old kid doing in the dark on a street with his bike? If his parents paid attention, this could have been prevented. Poor kid, dumb cop.

I didn't read anything about the cop being on his way to an emergency...or even responding to a non-emergency call.. did i miss that? far as I can tell he was simply going 70mph in 40 mph zone... dangerous and douchy. cop or not. True. the kid should not have been there, but he's a 10 yr old kid... with a 10 yr olds judgment. If it had been anybody else so blatantly speeding they'd likely get V. Manslaughter. Either way, the kid's dead. way to go everybody involved.  |
