Re: Speeding Cop Hit and Kills 10 Year Old Kid on Bicycle
The cop was definitely wrong for not using lights when responding to a call...But why the HELL was a 10 year old boy doing riding a bike across a 4 lane highway in the middle of the fucking night?? where the fuck were the parents? if he was at a friends why didn't they fucking pick him up???

Re: Speeding Cop Hit and Kills 10 Year Old Kid on Bicycle
I like all the bleeding hearts saying, "Think if it was your kid." I do. I'd never let my kid ride his bike on a busy road at night, and if he was stupid enough to do so, I wouldn't hold it against the poor bastard who ran him over.

Re: Speeding Cop Hit and Kills 10 Year Old Kid on Bicycle
Cops do not have to use lights and sirens under certain situations so this statement is wrong: Cpl. Vaughn's lights and siren were not activated as required. If they are responding to a break in for example, the sound of sirens or the sight of flashing lights would cause the criminal to try to flee the scene before the cops got there. Or if it is a domestic dispute, the criminal could get mad a person called the police and seek revenge on that person. I was told this by a police officer in driving class for a fucking ticket. |
