I think most decent drivers could've avoided that kid. You could see him from a pretty far distance, and that's just on a video. Yeah, the kid shouldn't have been riding his bike there, but still. Poor reflexes.

kid shouldn't have been in the middle of the road at night, and the cop shouldn't have been speeding or should have had his lights on. though, he plowed right thru him, didn't flinch.

Although it is very tragic, it's not entirely the Cop's fault. The kid shouldn't have been riding his bike in the middle of the highway at night while wearing a dark jacket.

Look how the cop reacts- I'm sure this is haunting him; why is this kid out on the street with his bike at night?? Once again, where are the parents??? They always want to blame someone else when they do NOT fulfill their parental responsibilities....

eh man... I could say so much about this video but, the only things I want to say are, first of all why the hell was that kid in the middle of the street late at night with no protection, second why the hell was that cop speeding for some unknown reason and third, did we not see the cop kinda swerve about 2 split seconds before the impact? I think he could have went right off the road with those final moments and missed the kid, saving his life.
