he was just walking down the street by himself and didn't appear that he could walk without assistance. I am not so sure the firearm should have been the first line of defense. We train with Control Tactics for just these kinds of reasons and for him to shoot after giving the subject a proper amount of time to comply is also wrong. I am not sure of their policy and procedures but this deserves more than a simple slap on the hand.

The police are the largest criminal legalized gang out there. They have rights to shoot 1st and maybe ask later (which never seems the case and the proof is there when they are let off the hook with a slap on the wrist). There is NO difference from them and criminals who murder, steal, rape, terrorize, etc etc.

shut the fuck up. what does that have to do with this vid, dicksnot?????? this is flat out murder and while I can't say I hate cops, I don't like the fact that this happens very often with the cop not being punished the least. Note: I'm not a criminal or past criminal either you piece of shit.

Well, they don't actually have the right to do what that man did. Unfortunately, police are given a different standard than civilians because of the situations they are in. But, this allows asshole cops like this to murder innocent people. You could tell by this cop's immediate voice that he was out to look for trouble rather than 'serve and protect'. Other cops would have politely asked the man what he was doing with knife and maybe explained to him not to be brandishing it in public. All cops are different though.
