Everyone thinks the FBI knows everything...J. Edgar did a good job with the whole PR thing. If the general public knew how retarded and generally clueless many of the Special Agents are, they would demand a Congressional investigation. The average FBI Special Agent, though well educated, lacks any real law enforcement experience...or balls for that matter. Nobody who's already a cop wants to join the FBI. They pay crappy, move frequently (all over the US and the world for that matter), and they rarely do real police work...they're also generally stuck up a bit also. Why they interviewed the FBI in this case is a mystery. He added nothing.
