Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
Yeah really...according to everyone here on DR only our U.S. police shoot and kill people, even though I've told their stupid asses this happens all over the world. Good, maybe they'll shut up now.

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
According to all the Europeans here on DR, you're supposed to shoot a finger or a toe off first before shooting center mass. Lmfao |

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
God knows I've tried to educate some folks here on DR about what really happens and why it happens...some refuse to understand or just love hateing on the police or authority of any kind. Most of those have absolutely no idea about real police work, firearms, or use of force incidents. They get everything they know from watching movies or TV. And some just see conspiracy or murder in anything police do that looks odd or violent. It makes you just feel so good about your fellow man.

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
What I said was that in my 25+ years experience of investigating police use of force incidents, I've never seen such a cluster fuck of a shooting. And no I don't think even marginally trained US or Canadian police officers would react in such a completely untrained, spastic, retarded, and totally unsafe manner. If it has happened in the past 25+ years anywhere in the US I've never seen anything or heard of anything this backward in a deadly force incident. No one...and I mean, no one uses warning shots or trains police officers to use warning shots anywhere in the US or Canada. The only exception to this is correctional facilities...they usually do fire warning shots and actually train for those types of shots. This incident is a Polish joke waiting to happen and I'm stunned that any law enforcement agency in Western Europe would allow or mandate warning shots. I know Europeans are squeamish with regard to police deadly force incidents, but what I sawing that video was appalling on a number of levels, the least of which was the warning shots. I can only hope the bad guy sues the living shit out of the police agency involved...what a disgrace.

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
Makes me wonder if the cops were actually trying to do what so many on here think American cops should do--shoot him in the leg, piss poor choice when you consider these are fluid events where everyone is moving and the target is 6 to 8 inches wide. |

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
All 2 bystanders looked super scared, LOL. Why the fuck did it take like, 20 shots before they could hit the "bad guy with a meat tenderizer"? TASERs Poland, try 'em out. NEW JOKE:How many Polacks does it take to hit an unarmed guy?

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
After watching the video several more times, I wonder the same thing. Were the officers firing warning shots or trying to wing the guy? Who knows, they sucked at whatever they were trying to do...is it just me or was the female officer crippled? Yeah...everyone always thinks it's super easy to shoot someone in the arm or leg. From first hand experience it's almost impossible under actual practice, let lone under fire...I was never able to do it and I'm an excellent combat shooter with several successful real shootouts as experience. It's unfortunate that folks do know what they don't know...but they're all experts on judging others. I just love it.

Re: Polish Police Shoot A Crazy Man
Ummm..They practice more at moving targets I guess? Couldn't hit him till he ran and even then only in the leg...Terrible shooting but no matter, they were 110% justified to shoot him. (Or in this case, at him... many times) The "former" FBI agent in the interview is a jackass.
