Re: Police in Seattle Pepper-Spray a 10-Year-Old Child (#32)
You can't pepper spray one or two people in a crowd the shit goes everywhere gets on your clothes hand touches your clothes now hand burns hand touches your face now your face is burning you try to take a leak now your nether regions are burning. It usually doesn't kill a healthy person (check with your cardiologist before joining an illegal street mob, attacking a police officer or trying to rape someone) and usually doesn't last too long, an hour later you can function a day later most of the burning sensation dissipates with no scarring or persistent pain. To bad junior's idiot parents didn't have enough sense or integrity to keep him away from dangerous situations. Fortunately for him he lives in a country where *most* police officers use measured, moderate means of enforcing the law; dispersing rioters with relatively low-risk means such as pepper spray or tear gas as opposed to many 3rd world cesspools where you would be shot or dragged off to a punishment camp without trial and in some cases never to be seen again. |

Re: Police in Seattle Pepper-Spray a 10-Year-Old Child (#32)
I spend most of my shifts these days at some protest or another. Only the uneducated over simplify what they can't or don't want to understand. Attempting to belittle a situation with "gotcha" statements, as well as your hate themed remarks, does nothing to solve anything. Based on you expert world view. How do we, as a society, eliminate fear of each other...? How unreasonable of me to believe you could articulate anything of consequence to the world. I'm really sorry for putting you on the spot like that. We teach what we know. You must have learned hate, possibly picked on growing up. Well then, let's have it kid. Let's hear your quippy response. I have looked at your posts, they don't convey much in the way of meaningful thought. |

If you thought a protest against the murder of a black man by a white cop was 'anti-white', then you are very unhinged, whether you'd like to admit it or not.

Wrong. You believe the protest were about that. And initially it may have started that way. But they’re many underlying reasons why people act the way they do. You may believe I am “unhinged” but in fact I am very sane and sociable. I am more popular than you imagine and people say things to me that they’ll always keep from you. |

Re: Police in Seattle Pepper-Spray a 10-Year-Old Child (#32)
I believe your introduction should be, "Criminally insane parent bring child to a violent protest!" Come on Chris, you are losing lots of respect quickly! Who is to blame for the actions of a child? His parent or guardian of course! Why do you not see the foolish one was the person who brought a child to the protest and then ran up to the police with that child when it was clear what was about to happen! What happened to rationality and accountability?
