Suspecting Samuel may try to flee the scene and needing to verify his identity the officer asks Samuel to take his seatbelt off as he goes to open his door. While doing so you can hear Samuel say "I didn't even do nothin' immediately afterwards at 1:53 turns the ignition on, attempting to flee. The officer reaches into the vehicle to try to turn the vehicle off. Because of how shaky the cam was it's hard to determine how the officer's hand got stuck, if at all. How likely is it to get run over when standing on the side of the vehicle? I don't know. What I do know is that officer wasn't going to take that chance and that's why I believe the officer chose to fire.

I don't think the officer was in the wrong. Samuel made a costly decision when he turned his ignition on in an attempt to flee.

becasue of it happening so quick, car leaving at high rate of spee, while he was just trying to get his arm out and not die... so he didn't KNOW he was dead yet (what if he had a gun and was playing possum?!?!... people have been thought to be dead only to regain consciousness and kill the other person who thought they were dead... haven't you ever heard of a double tap?? play stupid games, win stupid prizes
