4 cops involved over a legal act. What a waste of time. They were ZERO threat to be talked to like that. No resistance, no anger in thier voices, hands open and not near weapon.

Here's my question to these cops, what's it matter if they ban open carry if I never open carried....IF I carry my shotgun across town 1 time, and they banned it because of that, what difference does it make than I never carried it and it's still legal because it's 'stupid' to do that. A right not exersized is a right not had. These cops took it WAY over the top by drawing their weapons on these guys, and threatening to shoot them. And whichever cop said he'd shoot someone for walking in to a gas station with a gun on his shoulder needs his CCW taken because HE would be at fault there, and it isn't those guys job to train people with CCW's its the cops job, so maybe they need to do a better job and stop insighting panic by pulling their guns on innocent people like this.... The second amendment is already dying, and these cops are the reason why. In 1946 no one would have looked twice at what these guys were doing, so welcome to the downfall. |

It's news to me that you can "open" carry a gun anywhere in the U.S. I live in Florida which is one of the more open states to concealed carrying rights with a permitbut If you try to walk around here with a loaded gun openly you will be arrested and lose that weapon.

OK, I just watched the cop talk video and yes technically the 2nd amendment says you have a right to bear arms but you will get fucked with royally by the cops here so who wants to take the chance  |

You are welcome for the industrial revolution, WW1 and WW2, the Internet, and everything else you own that we invented. If not for us, where would you be right now? I do think you are right that we created our own gun problem. But guns didn't create the atmosphere of hatred that we see. Guns make it more difficult, but they are not the root problem. Surely you can that.  |
