Idiots had it coming. Legally speaking, kicking someone who's already on the ground is considered assault with a deadly weapon. The number of times those officers had desperately tried to use nonlethal methods to warn them to get on the ground was ridiculous. By the end I was almost hoping the injured cop would whip out his his gun and shoot one of them in the damn face. There's no excuse for the way those 'tards were attacking him like that.
