Re: Dashcam Released Police Deadly Shooting of Teenager Zach Hammond
Cop sees a guy speeding, pulls the guy over and the guy reaches for a weapons. Cop shoots the guy. By your logic, the cop is wrong because he didnt have to put himself in harms way?

Re: Dashcam Released Police Deadly Shooting of Teenager Zach Hammond
No thats not what im saying at all please dont twist my words to make me sound anti-cop Im not Anti anything But you have to understand from what i see in this video that the police officer tried to use his body to persuade the guy to stop the car. Thereby putting himself in harms way. When the smart money wouldve been to step aside and let the idiot go. Already knew him, knew his address, knew his everything im sure. So why step in front of, and continue to step in front of the car, when the easiest way was to step OUT of the way, instead of making yourself HAVE to shoot the guy, when he couldve gotten the fuck out of the way and caught him in 5 minutes without firing a shot. Both of these guys were fucked up on adrenaline, the driver and the cop. But in my OPINION the cop shouldve restrained himself a little. I wouldnt jump in front of a car no matter what the person behind the wheel was wanted for. Also think of it this way. I go to walmart, wait for someone to pull out of the parking lot and walk right in front of them, I shoot them because they dont yield to me. Am i right or wrong? Does the badge give a person a right to put themselves in danger when it is not needed and then use deadly force because they are in danger, when they put themselves there to begin with? I would like to read Oswalds opinion on this. |

This one is tricky for me too. Running in front of a car with the intent of shooting if it so much as sideswipes you seems a big escalation of force. On the other hand, what if the cops drove a cop car in front of their car and the guy still tried to sideswipe it to escape? Hmm. |

Re: Dashcam Released Police Deadly Shooting of Teenager Zach Hammond
This is another bullshit shooting. He did not try to run the cop over. Lying cops make me sick. I'm kinda surprised he only fired twice. Usually they shoot 30-40 rounds. Why the hell do they screw around for 3 or 4 minutes before they start CPR? Do they want to make certain he's dead? Holy shit. These incompetent bastards oughta be charged with murder.
