It's wrong to escalate the level of violence. the cop was wrong. cops can't just grab you by the throat because they don't like they way you talk to them. except maybe in the US, that is.

In Chicago, it is illegal to video tape city officials without their consent. The guy video taping is breaking the law. Because in Chicago, you don't have all the same rights as people in the rest of the country.

Chicago lost and it is legal to tape them in public and in uniform or on duty. Yet they still try to prosecute for this.
