6 Year Old Son Died After Dad Forces Him to Run on Threadmill
CHRISTOPHER GREGOR: is on trial for the murder and endangerment of his 6-year-old son, COREY MICCOLO. The trial began this past tuesday, and he could face life in prison if convicted. On March 20, 2021, GREGOR brought his son, COREY, to a fitness center, where the small boy was made to run on a treadmill for being "too fat." GREGOR would walk up to the treadmill, and increase the speed and incline, causing the 6-year-old to fall, and slide off the treadmill. GREGOR can be seen forcefully throwing him back onto the treadmill, and viciously biting his head as punishment. The poor boy continues to fall and struggle, which angers GREGOR further as he increases the speed and incline once again. The fitness center's security footage captured the horrific incident on their security cameras. The video is heart-breaking. The small boy's mother reported his injuries and GREGOR to child protective services after noticing bruises, and was working to get sole custody. Shockingly, her application was denied. She even brought COREY to a pediatrician after the incident and exams revealed no problems. On April 1st, the 6-year-old woke up slurring, nauseous, unable to walk and having shortness of breath. He was rushed to the hospital, and during a CT scan, suffered a seizure and tragically passed away. The autopsy showed that COREY passed away from blunt force injuries with cardiac and liver contusions, acute information and sepsis. |

Re: 6 Year Old Son Died After Dad Forces Him to Run on Threadmill
Disturbing photos and text messages released in the 'treadmill case' where a New Jersey father is accused of killing 6-year-old Corey Micciolo. Christopher Gregor reportedly first met his son when he was 5 years old. After their first meeting, Corey returned home with a busted lip which Gregor blamed on a soccer ball. New text messages show the boy's mother Breanna Micciolo confronting Gregor about some of the abuse. In one of the text messages, Gregor appeared to defend his abuse and said the boy needed to be tougher and not emotional. Disturbing photos show Corey's bruised body including an image of a bruise on his forehead. The mother reported the injuries to a caseworker at the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency. Corey died *one day* after courts rejected an emergency filing from the mother seeking full custody of her son. |

Re: 6 Year Old Son Died After Dad Forces Him to Run on Threadmill
Though absolutely not this extreme, I've personally witnessed wacky dads pushing and pushing their young sons athletically due to their own profound inadequacies and failed ambitions and trying to live vicariously through their children, the male equivalent of stage moms. My own nephew was like this with football and his 2 sons. When the kids failed at that, he pushed them into wrestling. Disgusting.

Re: 6 Year Old Son Died After Dad Forces Him to Run on Threadmill
My dad was a coach to midget football ( kids 5-7years old) when my brother was young. I saw him at a game cross the field and grab the other coach by the shirt and back him up to the fence. My dad's team was playing defense and tackled the quarterback. The kid was slow in getting up but the coach wouldn't let his teammates help him up. When he finally got up, his hand was broken. You could tell from the way it was bent. The poor kid started to come off the field but the coach waved him back. Poor kid just stood their and the center hiked the ball but that little quarterback couldn't catch it and so it was picked up by my dad's team and run in for a TD. When the hurt kid got to the sidelines his coach grabbed him by his hurt hand and dragged him off to the side and was yelling at him so loud dad heard him across the field. That's when dad sent one of his coaches for that ambulance and he went across the field. The other coach was well over 6 feet tall and about 250lbs and my dad was barely 5'11" and 175lbs but he had that guy backing up. Turns out that the coach was the hurt kid's dad and only had him for visitation that weekend. The kid had never even practiced with this team because his mom didn't want his dad to coach him because of how unstable he was. But for someone dumbass reason he was going to make a man out of his 6 year old son and prove he wasn't "different". Today he would probably be diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. But 30 years ago...well, he was " slow". Dad was embarrassed and thought mom babied him. He went to jail, lost all hopes of any type of custody or visitation and was never allowed to coach or participate in any children's sporting activities. My dad hated seeing anybody, especially kids, -mistreated, mainly because of his own upbringing. I really miss him. He died at 49 in 1995.

Absolutely sickening. Sweet little dude. He kept trying to get back on it... heart breaking. I'd pay big money to be allowed in the dad's cell for an hour.
