Future snake charmer. Someone needs to keep the cottage industry alive and well. Just like a fisherman teaching his toddler son to fish or a Tiger Woods dad teaching him to golf at age two. The cobra is de-fanged so no harm is done. |

I've seen that vid before and the word on it then was that the cobras mouth was taped. As I understand its not unheard of. I can't tell if the mouth opens when it strikes or not..

In Sri Lanka and other countries around there they have the snake's mouth sewed on each side so it cant open its mouth properly, they tend to also be defanged.

I did a 2-3week road trip round sri lanka back in 1992-1993 some time (forget the exact year) and the driver of our minibus was a local, an this is how he says the snake charmers keep it safe while doing what they do
