Re: Baptism Goes Wrong

Perhaps something told the priest that this kid was going to be trouble in life and he thought “This one is going to need more than just a few drops. He’s going to need full submersion to be saved.”

Re: Baptism Goes Wrong

a few drops of water on the head will do, padre, you can also wait till the kid is an alter boy to be skinny dipping.

Re: Baptism Goes Wrong

Babies are naturally squirmy, pastor is clumsy but the mother is at fault for not holding the baby in the towel during baptism.

That is the exact reason I would not let my wife use lotion on my children after bath time.

I still moisturise my daughter after her shower + she'll be 9 years old in a few months! Though I did stop with my son when he was about 3 (he's 17 now).

It paid off though, my daughter's skin is so soft + luxurious!

When my kids were babies I wouldn't allow it right after in bathroom, you know how they can't stay still but she did it before bed time when they were safely in bed and not hovering over hard porcelain in the bath.

My daughters are now 25 and 21 and moisturize like their mom does, every day after shower and before bed.

I used to moisturise my son on the bed after a shower. I moisturise my daughter on my lap whilst sitting on the settee as our bathroom is downstairs in our current house.

That's bizarre that some would do it over the bath!

Your future son in-law will thank you Simone There's nothing better than having a wife Partner with lovely soft skin (I felt I had to change that, this is the 21st century after all... )
