I've been lurking here for around a year, so I thought i'd share this set i recently purchased Seller said she's a victim of the russo-ukranian war, but the metadata on the photos are dated to back in 2008 before google says the war started so not too sure about that. Anyways enjoy!

Definitely not a conflict death. Unless Putin is forcing civilians to swallow poison. There is no evidence of violent insult to her body.

There are several clues that she killed herself with poison.

• The lack of defensive bruising to her arms and neck, as well as no petechial hemorrhaging in her sclera, all of which would be clearly visible if she were physically forced to swallow.
• Someone tried to save her life with an activated charcoal lavage. That's the black stuff all around her mouth and teeth. Note there are bits and chunks of black charcoal in her stomach and small intestinal contents. That suggests she died in a clinical setting. Not a battlefield. However, the lack of clear IV insertion sites suggests they did not have time to admit her. She may have been DOA.
• The good condition of the esophageal and stomach lining do not show evidence of a caustic agent. The liver, however, is shot to hell and its parenchyma is grossly malformed with the two lobes underdeveloped by pediatric abuse. Therefore we may conclude that (A) She didn't swallow pesticides or something similar. (B) It was likely a toxic substance processed by the liver such as an overdose of medication. Alcoholics who take acetaminophen all the time get livers like that.
• The heart shows evidence of fatty infiltration, which is highly unusual for someone of her age and habitus. Another clue of alcoholism.
• The condition of her hair and nails, as well as her neatly-shaved pussy, give evidence of a young woman who was ready for a night on the town and not expecting to die.
• Finally, people found dead on the battlefield do not get such thorough autopsies performed. They're going to a lot of effort.

If I were a betting man, I would suggest the scenario looked something like this: Little Anastasia Holodominsky grew up in a broken home with an alcoholic mother and absent father. Around the time she hits 14, she gets some attention from Oleg, the local lowlife and small-time drug dealer. Soon little Anastasia is 15 going on 30, partying every night with him and trying every drug known to the club scene.

One night Anastasia is high as Hamaan and she stumbles backstage, where she finds Oleg making out with Anna, who's six months younger and prettier than she is. In a fit of rage, she grabs a fistful of something from Oleg's stash. Unfortunately, whatever it is doesn't mix well with alcohol. They call the Russian equivalent of 9-11, but little Anastasia has already left the ball by the time they reach the hospital. The end.

I can hear fapfapfap uncorking himself right now: "Hurr de durr, Hozay, first you said poison and now you say drugs. Which is it?"

Both.

She's been slowly poisoning herself with alcohol and something like Tylenol for years. That left her liver in such bad shape, when she swallowed too much of whatever party drug Oleg was dealing that night, there was no saving her even after administering the charcoal. It didn't take much to push her over the edge.

The sequence of events is not intended to be taken as a literal diagnosis. It is one sequence that may fit the facts of what we see in the autopsy. Her organs say heavy alcohol/drug user and her corpse says someone who died from an accidental poisoning rather than an intentional suicide.

Good work Quincy, I'm amazed by how you can tell al that from a corpse. It's almost as though you cut and pasted it, it reads so fluently.

Have you ever performed an autopsy? I did the occasional one on Christmas at 3 in the morning since I was the qualified surgeon on call. When the death is treated as suspicious in this district, the fiscalía wants a preliminary within 72 hours. Part of the process is for the charge nurse and social worker to interview family (if available) for you to use as subjective data in your narrative of contributing factors. I have seen variations of this scenario enough to see the general outline.

Thank you for sharing your stories of suspicious deaths on Christmas day. I do have a question though about a suspicious birth on the same date.

Many years ago I was on vacation with my girlfriend in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. On December 25th she gave birth to a baby boy even though she was not pregnant. Is this at all scientifically possible, and if so, how?
