Re: Syria:Face Removed by Shrapnel in Slo-Mo and Aftermath.
Looks to me like the body hasnt quite realized yet that its dead. Just random brain stem functions causing movement. Much like you see in decapitations. I doubt with that much trauma to the face and brain that he has any real state of consciousness...

Re: Syria:Face Removed by Shrapnel in Slo-Mo and Aftermath.
Are there any videos in existence from the middle east where they do NOT say "Allahu Akbar" every half second like a broken record?

He is. His brain is intact and is still alive. You can see his jaw moving. He probably suffocated to death either by his throat being blocked or his neck being broken. |

Re: Syria:Face Removed by Shrapnel in Slo-Mo and Aftermath.
That makes sense - I suppose it's more similar to the phrase "in god we trust" (that's always written on US currency and bullion) than it is to "oh my god" And yes, I agree that Americans generally don't go around shouting "in god we trust!" around their fallen comrades. I learn something new every day. |
