Yes, it appears that it was a 50 caliber round that was fired from down the street from the general direction from which these guys were firing at. It appears the round penetrated the corner of the building and went right through the wall, hitting the FSA soldier in the face and ricocheting off the wall opposite them. You can actually see the round rebounding back in a few frames after it tears off the man's face. Definitely a lot of shrapnel flying around the place but his face was definitely taken off by the round. In one frame you can actually see the burst of concrete as the 50 caliber round comes out through the other side of the wall.  |

Could those cylinder shaped objects that popped into a frame or two be some of the shrapnel? They came real close to the camera operator.
