And I'm sure that many Islamic elements worldwide are not-so-secretly celebrating the deaths of so many schoolgirls, while perhaps also lamenting it wasn't done at their own personal glorious hand. Gotta get those 72 afterlife virgins for each terrorist SOMEhow, don't we?

A fucking near-indescribably huge tragedy, no matter who is responsible. Iran (and the world) will really miss having as many educated women as it can GET, coming up here soon.

If the story would be true, it'd mean that the girl's school was on an IRGC compound. Thats not too likely, imho. Also some of the early released photos of the graveyard preparations were identified as old AFP stock photos originating to the height of the Covid epidemic. I think we can safely assume the story is true. Our administration has already moved on from "it's fake", to "it's real, but Iran did it themselves", to "well they shouldn't have had a school there anyway". Of course Israel is saying the same thing they did when they killed Shireen Abu Akleh, "It must have been someone else, we don't target civilians "
