How can a remake improve the original which being made in 1993 isn't really that old..special effects? That's what's wrong with Hollywood,too much CGI and not enough substance. The original is brilliant and holds up well even today. I watched it with someone born in 93 just over a month ago for the 1st time since 93..it held up well..this dude was impressed too. |

There's more than one way to tell the story. Surely. When I say I'm happy to see a remake, I really mean, I'd like to see a slightly different version of the events. Both of the crash and the survival part. Effects can be tasteful even these days in 2012, and we could see more angles of the plane in flight. Alive (1993) will always remain one of my favourite films and it's effects are fantastic I agree. |
