Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

this is so powerfull, it chills out of me, my dad shoots himself while i was on highschool, ever since then I think about it, and it makes me sad to think about the time I didnt spend with im, but it also make me think on whats goes on the mind of the person who decides to take his life. Lots of people speaks about it but I often thinks that is some really intrinsecal order. Something not related to problems or human nature. I dont know I my english is not good enough for me to keep writing. Its a really good feeling to be alive, to share, to laugh, to talk, to sit back and see the world, etc. Its really good video. thanks for sharing.

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

Some people can't stand how hard this life/world is...they're better off without suffering...

I agree

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

Thanks for that. That's cheered me right up. I never knew that the Golden Gate bridge was so high up from the water before. That's some distance.

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

We're here one moment gone the next. No one really cares. Yes they might think its hurting them for awhile but when you think how old the earth is its self... It's nothing, People have no choice but to move on. Family, Friends, Sure they'll hurt for a few seconds but as the days, months, years go on you'll be that person lost down the family chain which no one can remember or be proud of.

and that's one beautiful bridge!
The family never forgets. Trust me on that.

Really under-rated subject, I'm surprised theres not more people posting here. I'll hopefully watch "The Bridge" film tonight.

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

These are scenes taken directly from the documentary "The Bridge"...The girl in the blue hoodie was actually pulled back over by the cops & didn't jump.

One of the boys also SURVIVED his fall. Apparently, dolphins swam in circles underneath him to keep him afloat, which saved his life.

I've been there, too. You just wish you had said something differently in your last conversation. Done something more. I've made it back from the edge; why couldn't I pull her back, too...

RIP my sweetheart Amber.

RIP NYE man. Even though you were a stranger, I still feel I knew you.

It's the most depressing thing ever. I sobbed for days & had nightmares. Then, after my 1st girlfriend took her life...it's hard to swallow afterwards. Literally. Beautifully done, though, to remember & celebrate the victims' lives, at least.

It's brave of you to talk about your personal dealings with suicides. Sorry for your losses.
It's hard sometimes, especially when you think how much you liked the person, and how they would make even the dullest day brighter.

Now I'm definitely going to watch it tonight. Thanks. Keep dancing
