Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

so much traffic there and no one cares, GREAT ! Maybe u americans have to start "wasting" money in health, care and psychological institutions instead of spreading so much war and hate around the world. You know what, if i came to that situation, i would have killed as many as politicians and banksters as i can get. Then let me killed. At least i did a favor to the rest of the world

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

We're here one moment gone the next. No one really cares. Yes they might think its hurting them for awhile but when you think how old the earth is its self... It's nothing, People have no choice but to move on. Family, Friends, Sure they'll hurt for a few seconds but as the days, months, years go on you'll be that person lost down the family chain which no one can remember or be proud of.

and that's one beautiful bridge!

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

Wow, that was rather sad to see everyday people, casually giving it in, and to think by standers didn't stop them.

Us 'americans' spend more on health care and psychological institutions than any other country. We invented most of the anti-depression drugs, for which YOUR government sets the price to you. At least you pay something for our pharmaceuticals, unlike the 'american' movies and software you steal (copy). But wait, its stealing from 'Bill Gates' and he has too much money, correct?

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

Stopping to help would cut into valuable jogging time!
Fitness nuts sometimes seem like the biggest turds around, oblivious to anyone else. I have a sidewalk in front of my house, but joggers feel the need to run in the street. I am surprised more aren't hit by cars, some driven by oblivious women talking on their cell phones. Statistics show more accidents are caused by two women in cars running into each other, and thats a fact!
Anyway, San Francisco has so many strange people that hanging your legs over the bridge might not be seen as uncommon behavior. I don't remember seeing anyone doing it last time I was on the GG Bridge in 2002.
What are you going to say to a person sitting on the railing. You could contact law enforcement, they might show up with Glocks blazing 'he made a gesture as I approached from 50 feet away like he might grab me and carry me over too...'
San Fran may have many strange people but I'd say it's still better safe than sorry. Better to be hated by a strange person who likes to sit on the railing for kicks than not save a life. Just talk to them, ask them, hey, how's your day going? Do you have any plans for tomorrow? If not, let's make one right now.

Hmmmm, that is a good idea....
Here is what might work:
1) "What am I going to do with this extra Slayer concert ticket?"
2) "Damn, I've got an ounce of cocaine I need to get rid of before I go to the airport"
3) "do you know what time it is? No? Well lets go find out..."

Here is what might not work:
1) "Jesus loves you sir..."
2) "don't you have any homework to do?"

Re: The Golden Gate Bridge

Imagine the heartache their family members are experencing. Suicide is such a selfish way of dealing with pain.
