Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
Posting such a over-dramatic and indistinctive phrase like this one you posted is hubristic. Ah, really? What a smart argument in favor of a verdict, that is carried out by a government! This is nothing but a dummy argument, because this thread is about those, that did. Well, let's turn this one around: I could list you up so many false reasons that were used to erase people from this world, that had not deserved it... Very nice, that you wrote "most certainly", because your claim is "most certainly" wrong. Yes, we can. |

Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
Believe it or not... a study was carried out on this. It would cost more (purely in terms of bureaucratic bullshit and red tape) to execute someone in England, than to keep them in prison for 30 years |

Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
Yeah I read that somewhere. However, is a TV, playstation, gyms, food all necessary if you'r in prison for something serious. If I had my way it would be a tiny cell, matress, shitter. Nothing else than bread and water. However, due to the fucking human rights act, this will never happen. Them bastards in there lead a better life that some in this country. Its no deterrent

Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
I don't look at the death penalty as a deterrent but the ultimate punishment for someone who committed an atrocity against another person. As far as the laws, they are a joke. It is true that it costs taxpayers more money to keep someone on death row then to execute them due to the damn liberal bullshit that seems to protect the condemned more then their victims. |

Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
Agreed. I don't think anything would deter most of these people. I think they simpy don't deserve to live in our society after committing certain crimes.

Re: 2012 Executions in the USA
death def isnt a deterrent. its showed states with the death penalty still have higher murder rate then states without it. people dont think about the death penaly when they are killing people bc they feel they will never get caught anyways.
