Re: 2011 Executions in the USA
Humberto Leal Jr. a/k/a Humberto Leal Garcia Executed July 7, 2011 06:21 p.m. CDT by Lethal Injection in Texas ![]() Crime: 16 year old Adria Sauceda was at a block party, became intoxicated, and was driven away from the scene by Leal, who claimed to know her mother. About 30 minutes later, Leal’s brother arrived at the party and hysterically yelled that Leal had come home with blood on him saying he had killed a girl. Adrea's nude body was found nearby on a dirt road. Her head had been bludgeoned with a 30-40 pound chunk of asphalt. There was a bloody and broken stick protruding from her vagina. Bite marks were found on her chest and neck. Later that day, police questioned Leal and searched his house. Police seized a blouse belonging to Sauceda that contained several blood stains, hair and fibers. Blood and other bodily fluids were found on Leal’s underwear. Police found blood stains on the passenger door and seat of Leal’s car. Leal had scratches and cuts on his body. He stated that he was with Sauceda in his car when she began hitting him and the steering wheel, causing him to hit a curb. He tried to calm her down, but she leaped from the car and ran away. After waiting about ten to fifteen minutes to see if she would return, he went home. After the police informed Leal that his brother had also given a statement, Leal gave another statement. This time, Leal claimed that he followed Sauceda after she jumped out of the car. She attacked him, and he pushed her away. She fell on the ground and did not get up. Leal attempted to wake her, but could not. When he saw bubbles coming out of her nose, he got scared and left. He said he went home, prayed, and told family members what had happened. Re: 2011 Executions in the USA
I heard that Obama was trying to stop Texas from executing him because he was a Mexican citizen and it wasn't America's place to execute him. |

Re: 2011 Executions in the USA
very interesting thread, with the meal requests and final words. death penalty should be abolished as it should fall under cruel and unusual punishment. i mean killing someone is beyond cruel don't you think...but apparently the american justice system doesn't for some retarded reason. at least make the legal system seem plausible. there are other alternatives out there besides being in prison forever

Re: 2011 Executions in the USA
yep...dude came over here at the age of 2. He was a "Texan" until he was sentenced to death...then he wanted to say he was a Mexican citizen and that he was never told that he could call the Mexican authorities on his case. Obama didn't want him executed.....Texas did it anyway. |
