I disagree. I'd vote for the death sentence in Europe any time. The verdicts should be waterproof, though. That's the problem with US verdicts. Oftentimes not based on evidence but a biased jury. |

I think that's an issue without any correct answer. It's a 100% matter of opinion. Let's hypotheticly say that I would have a daughter. She got kidnapped, raped and killed by some old guy. Ofcourse I wouldn't want that beast to be alive. But I guess it depends on what crime we're talking about aswell. |

I believe if they are being executed they should be allowed choose the manner of their own execution (excluding the many silly jokes this could incur) Also Since they are going to die anyway why not ask them if they willing to live life as a human guinea pig , then we can test surgeries/viruses/medicines on them, and something productive will have come from thier life

Also I'd like to say that there is no point in keeping someone alive when they will do nothing productive for the rest of it anyways. Life in prison should be automatic death sentence. And if you want to feel better about it, we'll still call it the Life Sentence and assume it means Death Sentence.
