The babies were killed first, their mothers took the poison and covered the babies as they convulsed to death. Other family members would then also take the poison, lay down next to and sometimes on top of the bodies of other relatives or friends.

One of the drugs usd in the flavor aid-cyanide mix helped induce sleep. Another prevented allergic reactions (so the grape poison drink couldnt be regurgitated). It was an evil genius mix of drugs that probably allowed for a lot - although by no means all - of the people there to die relatively peacefully within five minutes.

Has anyone heard the recording of them taking the kool aid? Holy shit. It's about 45 mins long and released by the FBI. Not everyone thought it was a good idea and a couple were trying to convince against suicide but there were some vocal angry members who were brainwashed pushing for it. He was convincing them was the only way. Cyanide doesn't kill you right away and the babies and little kids are screaming and crying in pain and he is trying to get the parents to calm them down feeding them some bullshit about it that they just didn't like the taste. I will come back if I can find the link again and post it.

I read there was the flavor aid, cyanide, and a drug that would relax and make them sleepy however it did not prevent horrendous pain and that is why in the FBI audio recording I posted in the thread later on down the thread has the babies and children screaming out in pain and he is telling the parents to quiet them down and quit with the hysterics because they would go quickly and peacefully. He tells them they just don't like the slightly bitter taste but they carry on for 40 minutes until a few minutes from the end. It would take faster if they relax he tells them but it sounds like nobody is keeping them agitated. He said killing them is a mercy compared to the torture that awaits their children if the government gets a hold of them since somehow one of theirs got killed and Russia isn't rescuing them. They are dying for the revolution. A couple people were trying to live and objected saying there was another way but were getting shut down by other angry members who were brainwashed.

Cyanide is a horrible way to go. It will make you convulse and have blood come out your cavities while still alive in excruciating pain from what I read. I forgot what the medication was besides cyanide they used exactly that they obtained for the cocktail but there was a group that had been debating for a while what method they would use to die with and considered a firing squad and some other methods and that's why some people decided they didn't want to take part and wanted to leave and some were able to at the only opportunity they had. Others were unable to.
