Re: Jonestown Massacre Photos (18 November 1978)
The compound wasn't called Jonestown , it was '"Jonestown" it was officially called the 'Peoples Temple Agricultural Project'. Not really important but I thought readers might like to know. I saw a documentary a whole ago and the found the infamous 'kool aid' tub, although it wasn't kool aid, it was flavor- aid.

Re: Jonestown Massacre Photos (18 November 1978)
People always make a huge mistake with Jonestown thinking they used Koolaid, then the saying "Don't drink the koolaid" But in fact there was never any koolaid at jonestown. They used the dollar store knockoff Flavor-Aid, main reason Koolaid was harder to come by in Guyana. Koolaid tried to sue in the early years but they did force magazines and media to issue apologies and updates, but the damage had been done Still to this day people think they drank koolaid, when in fact it was the nasty tasting Flavor Aid that damn near tasted like medicine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flavor_...stown_Massacre |
