the only thing that gets me confused is the possibility that the mom wrote the "ransom" note. Does anyone know if her handwriting was matched definitively?

I do recall hearing that the parents stood to make alot of money off of their daughter's death...Insurance and what-not. She was into that beauty pagent nonsense.... Don't know if it's true, just what I heard. |

Poor kid, never even had a chance. Dressed up and displayed like a trained monkey for most of her childhood so her mom could live vicariously through her, then murdered in her own home. My heart just goes out to her. |
