the police really screwed this up. They focused on the parents to the exclusion of all else, despite the poor girl having non-family DNA under her nails and in fluids around the body. Now, completely cold case.

purhaps skull break and marks from parent(s) then ropes used later as a cover up and throw off investigators. who knows......remember that creepy guy from the news that taught and molested kids in taiwan.

Everything points to stranger murder if looked at together at the same time. put it together, in a specific order and it looks more like an acquintance murder with coverup? rage/panic= skull fracture, taser=planned? then ligiture? Considerable time with the body? the DNA- before death? This is an unorganized killer comfortable spending time in an unknown home? I don't think so- more likely this person knew this girl and this house. Could be a family member, neighborhood person? This wasn't a random act of opportunity by a stranger.

On the other hand, those two burn marks scream "taser" to me. Anyone she knew and trusted wouldn't need to tase her. I think a stranger did this. Probably for money.
