As for what would have happened if JFK hadn't been assassinated...very simple: There would still have been a Vietnam War (he started it, after all) and we wouldn't have to listen to the "JFK is a saint" bullshit. He was a womanizer, a criminal, had little interest in civil rights, and the two biggest parts of his presidency spoke volumes: Tried to assassinate Castro and failed miserably. The Cuban Missile Crisis, it's been found out, was a ploy by the Soviets to get the United States to withdraw nuclear missiles from Turkey. JFK might have looked the hero for getting the Soviets to withdraw the missiles from Cuba...but in actuality the Soviets got exactly what they wanted. Politicians...ALL politicians...should never, EVER be revered for anything. Yes, I hate both Republicans and Democrats.  |

If you think the ballistics are crazy now, treat yourself to a trip to downtown Dallas, TX. Once you've seen that, ballistics findings go right out the window. |

From what I've been able to figure, they weren't so much covering up who really did it as they were covering up what a crappy investigation they had - it's an american law enforcement tradition still used to this day  |
