What will this be his 3rd or 4th retirment? I hate the guy but he is just so damn good, his defence is just stupidly good. Im a big pacman fan but after every one of the wife beaters fights I always have doubts that manny can beat him.

I can't see him staying out for long. Yeah he has made a fuck ton of money but he spends it like a idiot and I dont think he has the discipline to cut back on that (or the right people around him for that matter)

I agree. I also don't see how he could retire w/o fighting Pacquiao and still call himself the greatest of this generation. He's too arrogant to pass that payday and fight up and have that hanging over him for the rest of his life.
I do think Pacquiao can beat him and I think he knows it. So fuck it, why not retire for a while and drive the price up some more and have age and retirement as an another excuse if he does lose, it's win/win for Mayweather. Bottom line, he's better off losing to Manny than not taking fight at all, if he doesn't take the fight at all he's a bitch for eternity and that shit don't fly in Boxing.

He got hit the most he has ever been in his last fight and it's going to get worse, he'll end up painted into a corner where he needs to fight, going to end bad.

'Money' Mayweather, going to end up fighting desperately for some.

so just to clarify, this thread will still be used for discussions on mma/boxing i.e upcoming events, rumours, thoughts following a event but it is acceptable to start threads with individual fights or mma/boxing documentarys?

I agree 100% whoever posted the Zambidis vs. Chahid fight in this thread (I think it was gridjitsu) should give it a thread of its own.

yes, even though mma or boxing etc are not extreme in the sense of being abnormal or eccentric, they are still extreme in terms of violence.
