Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
You ain't lying. At this point they should already have rematch setup instead of dancing around the fight all together, ridiculous.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Boxing is not dead however the glory days of boxing are over. Boxing has been on a decline since the late 90's. It was done in by greedy promoters that never give you the fights you want. Now there are 13 weight classifications in 4 different governing bodies (WBA, WBO, IBF, WBC). This has led to there being 52 "world champions". This is done to ensure that almost every fight is a "world championship". Quick! Can anyone name the IBF Super Light Featherweight champ? I certainly can't. Young kids today have no interest in boxing. They like fighting. They want to fight, not box. |

Golden Boy/Oscar De La Hoya still making money. This guy holds the most pay per view sales in combat sports with a total of $696 million pay per view sales during his professional career from 1992 to 2008. The De la Hoya-Mayweather fight generated 2.4 million pay-per-view buys which is also a record for a single fight. In before panties pics. |
