It is the mayor of Leipzig, his wife and his daughter (the nurse in the sofa). There are more images in the set - I made a quick search and found these:

Here is a link to a contemporary newspaperarticle on the Leipzig suicide. There seems to have been several more suicides, but as far as I know, there's only picture from the suicide of the mayor family. Btw - the daughter is said to be 18 years old.

I like the hanging guy with the stretchy face. The guy smiling on the railroad tracks in several pieces must have had a rotten life if he's happy it's over.
