Re: Inquisition : The Suffering is Redeeming
I like the one where they used to throw the suspected witch into the water and if she floated to the top she was guilty and if she sank to the bottom and stayed there she was innocent |

Re: Inquisition : The Suffering is Redeeming
Greetings from Spain: A bunch of facts: Inquisition in Spain ONLY can judge catholics. Usually, those who converted from islam or judaism into catholic faith and discovered returning to their old faiths. In 300 years, only 1200 executions. Everyone documented and Stored in the castle of Simancas. The files still there and can be checked. |

Re: Inquisition : The Suffering is Redeeming
Catholics are still at it. My foreman is catholic. He tried to have a meeting with the CEO and other foremen and an invester with the agenda I would be forced to work on Shabbat. Unfortunately (for them) they just hired my friend as a foreman and he put them in their place. Next Shabbat the CEO gracefully took me to the parking lot. Next project he invites me on I am going to be open to another project with a competitor. Nice try boss!
