The one with the crying woman and the kids is pretty hardcore. I understand sort of that these folks wanted to have a photo of the dead person, but why have a photo of grieving family? Who would want to look at that photo again? "oh look...this pic is from just after Edward died...I was hysterical with grief and the kids were terrified of the corpse. So glad we had the photographer there"

in islam there is no concept of a wake or body viewing. after death a body is immediately washed, wraped in a white shroud and buried within the same day. if family members have to come afar for the funeral, then maybe a day might elapse. otherwise burial is immediate.
