Re: Zoo keeper Mauled To Death By Tiger
There are fewer than 400 individuals of Sumatran tigers in this planet. It belongs to the IUCN Red List: under that level there are two more ones: Extinct in the wild and extinct at all. After humans did put him in a cage, what was she expecting from the tiger, after walking into the little territory that humans arbitrarily assigned to him, some purrs? I do respect human life, but if I was that tiger I would have done the same, and if this accident would have happened in Sumatra, most likely the tiger would have spared her life. Because he would have had somewhere to flee, which is impossible to do when you're locked in a cage. |

Easily suicide. You do not walk into Tigers and expect cuddles unless you hand reared them from birth. |

Re: Zoo keeper Mauled To Death By Tiger
I don't think it was suicide, she was a young pretty girl that was probably doing exactly what she always dreamed of doing with her life. I bet she just got too comfortable and emotional with the big kitty, she walked into the enclosure thinking she wasn't going to get hurt. She was fatally wrong.

Keeping beasts like tigers enclosed isn't ideal. A safari park maybe. I'm inclined to agree. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...k-8631583.html |
