That was my thought too. When I watched the news coverage on this this morning they still had no motive for the shooting, but I have a feeling the guy is just a nut job who was trying to call out a real-life Batman. Those poor people.

Trying to dig up some info on this guy or a picture even, but still nothing. Though I have found the names of whom I presume to be his parents and their adress, possibly the house of where he grew up. If anyone wants to try to find something based on these leads; Arlene Rosemary Holmes (58) Robert M. Holmes Jr. (61) 13310 Sparren Ave Dan Diego, CA 92129-2336 Do not harass these people though. James were from San Diego, so it is quite possible the adress is still highly related to any information regarding him. The most recent record of realesate changing owner dates from 2000, as I've found. If it's too sensitive of information, then smack me hard and I'll stay clear of it from now on Edit: Just took a look at the adress using google street view. It shows a car similiar to the one officers are searching, which appear to be a Hyundai Coupe 1.6 FX - a car which got quite distinctive design features above the wheel arches. The street view picture was taken in February 2011. |

With the complacency of our mental health professionals it's amazing we don't have more incidents. Many mentally disturbed under medication and not being monitored. I find it difficult that this individual had not had episodes giving prior indicators of aberrant behaviors. He needs to be away from society...far, far, away.....  |

Just shows a bloodied up man but its the only video so far Man goes in with bulletproof armor and gas mask from behind Batman movie screen in the Aurora theater in Colorado. Throws a smoke or gas grenade into the theater and takes out a shotgun and shoots into the back of the theater. Run out of ammo and takes out a rifle and shoots into the fleeing crowd. 15+ dead 50 injured.
