We don't have any children in the house, but, I figure, if someone wants to get me that badly, they're going to get me.

I cannot outrun a gun and most times, the man is physically stronger. They'd be disappointed with any expected, "bounty," they would get here.

The only things I have are only valuable to me, such as personally autographed photos. No cash here, no weapons since my brothers died, and no valuable jewelry.

The same thing goes for shooting me in a car. Mine is a 4 cylinder I've had for years and not bulletproof.

When I babysit, the doors are locked and the children are not out of my site, unless the older one, almost 9, is in her room. The nearly 2 1/2 year old follows me to the bathroom so he's accounted for at all times as well.

I would gladly take any abuse to save the babies.

If this man wanted to kill the girl, he would have with ease.

If he wanted to kill the mom, he would have easily done that. Instead he roughed her up like any thug beater does.

Criminals only think of themselves and not the hurt and/or damage they do to others or their property. It's a, "me, me, me!," mentality!

Hard to believe we are all the same species

It's brutal, Meg, but, the victim edited it in hopes of catching the perp. You do not see her being thrown down the stairs, if that helps!
