Surfside Floride Building Collapse

This is a fantastic YouTube channel covering the collapse. Witnesses said the pool deck collapsed first. I believe that the rest of the building remained standing due to the elevator shaft. The elevator shaft is the only thing that went all the way down to the bottom of the parking garage, aside from the pool itself. I don't know why anyone would ever build anything with an underground level in South Florida, especially on recovered wetlands. The parking garage spanned underneath the ENTIRE complex. The part of the building that fell was stabilized to the pool deck for some idiotic reason. These are million dollar condo units. The sister complex a few doors down needs to be demolished as well, in my opinion, since it shares the same exact plan as the one in question.
