*No pics of the scumbags here, but, they had six or eight children, most of whom were taken away. A three year old deaf girl lived with them, but, nothing was said of her condition. Could she possible have been worse?* NBCPhiladelphia.com The parents of a six-year-old South Philadelphia boy are charged with their son's murder. The Medical Examiner says the little boy, who weighed only 29 pounds, died of blunt force trauma and malnutrition. "He suffered from malnutrition because nobody's feeding him," said Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. "I mean like any six-year-old child, you're depending upon your parents to take care of you. Or some other adult." Sources close to the investigation say the victim, who they identify as Khalil Wimes, was one of several children removed from the care of their mother, Tina Wimes, over the years. Khalil was placed in foster care two years ago, but placed back in the custody of his parents after his foster mother lost the right to adopt him in a court battle, according to sources. Police say Khalil was brought to the hospital Monday night, where he was pronounced dead. Sources say at least one parent told police Khalil slipped in a tub. But investigators say the little boy's injuries were not consistent with a fall. "I saw photographs of the body, and clearly signs of abuse," said Commissioner Ramsey. Khalil's parents, Tina, 44, and Floyd Wimes, 48, are charged with murder and related offenses. |

They're both drug addicts. The mother looks 20 years older than her stated age of 44. They should starve and beat them every day! I'm all for the punishment fitting the crime; an eye for an eye. Two druggie baby killers for one child! I'm for it! Sadly, two aunts begged to get the little boy. One had him from the time he was taken away at ONE WEEK OLD! He was a cute little boy until the parents got him back. Neighbors said they never knew he even lived there.

So sad!  .But it feels like child abuse is so common here in Philadelphia. I have seen parents say horrible things to their kids in public and beat them too. How can parents do that to their own kids?! |

I have no children of my own, but, I have nieces and nephews, the youngest being 14 months, and I love seeing them every week! They look at you with such happiness and trust! I won't even smack a child! People who punish children for potty habits and not liking food piss me off! They all learn at their own pace. If they don't have the patience, they should have stopped after one. I live in Philadelphia, too, and it's an epidemic now! Besides the starving and beating, with Summer, they're falling out of windows now! Big people are supposed to watch out for the little ones! I'm amazed how each week my youngest nephew changes and learns things! He's such a character! I love all of my nieces and nephews dearly! |

They don't deserve to be parents! I know so many women who would give up anything for a baby and these pieces of trash throw them away like dirty diapers! Maybe drug addicts are just more fertile than otherwise healthy women who can't conceive. Life puzzles me. It's not always fair. |
