Re: Polish President Feared Dead in Plane Crash
They are definitely all dead, for sure... I always have The World Today from the BBC on at this hour, and yeah... even the Yahoo! News articles say the dude kicked the bucket... I don't see how he couldn't. It makes me wonder if they have a similar process as they do in the USA... AKA... if the prez dies, the vice prez comes to power. I can't see the Russians killing the guy... if anything, if it WAS an attack and not a weird coincidental accident... it might have been Polish opposition people, etc. |

Re: Polish President Feared Dead in Plane Crash
Here in Poland we don't have a person who we can call "Vice President". After death of the president the Parlament's Marshall is in charge. Currently a man called Bronislaw Komorowski stays in charge untill we will have new president elected, which must happen in next 60 days. I don't know why some of you jokes about this, the whole nation is sad, reporters and news are talking only about this one thing the whole day, all programs have been canceled due to this tragic event, people are standing and praying together in warsaw. Very, very sad thing. I never liked the policy of Lech Kaczynski, was always against his ideology, but after his death i can't stop thinking about him, i feel very sorry for him, i can't believe it happened. In may he was going to say that he is going to try to become a president again, but now ... he won't because he is gone. |
