That is how I would see it for myself as well, however I believe that the financial drain just being pregnant could cause some people would be endangerment, and if that is the case, the option needs to be available for those who can't get help paying for medical bills.

I myself don't know if I'll even be able to afford the hospital charges of delivering a baby, let alone the doctor visits they try to push on you.

I truly believe it should be up to the individual and not to government what we do to our own bodies. It should only be criminal to do harm to someone else's body, outside of your own body.

In many ways a baby is nothing more than a parasite, many would argue, and it would be true.

However, that parasite is exactly what we all once were. It is the only natural way our species has to reproduce itself, and life is about reproduction no matter how you look at it.

Babies should be born. They should be given the chance at life, but if you don't want them and it's not a rape case, I believe you should give it up for adoption. there are so many people out there that could provide all the care and love an unwanted child would ever need or ask for.

I do know one woman who has several children. Her first three were taken from her by the court. She was allowed to keep one. She loves and provides for her son first and herself second.

When she became pregnant again by a man who wouldn't even try to be a dad, she had to make a heart wrenching decision. Together, she and the baby's father could raise both children and have enough for themselves. Alone, she could barely support herself and her previous child.

It's hard to see her when she looks over the letters of her daughter by her daughter's adoptive family. She cannot write to the child. She cannot send pictures of her own. All she can do is be a spectator, but, for her, she knows it was the best outcome possible.

The girl's father pushed the woman to have an abortion she didn't want, as if it was his choice what happened to her body.

For me things almost went the opposite.

I once thought I was pregnant and told my boyfriend I intended to get an abortion. The ass thought he could tell me to keep it secret and dump the baby somewhere as soon as it was born.

Thank whatever gods may exist that I wasn't pregnant. I would have ruined his family by keeping it. No way would I kill it or just leave it to die because he said having an abortion would be worse.

To me, giving birth to a kid, then dumping it somewhere with nothing and no one to take care of it is much worse than having an abortion, yet kids do that one a lot.

Really, which is worse? Letting your kid die in a toilet/alley dumpster, or killing it before it gets it's first heartbeat? I'd rather kill it before it can feel than when it can think AND feel.

Abortion is often the better choice for many people.

I don't see why they would stop the day after pill. they use that when a woman has been raped to help prevent the pregnancy. I for one don't believe in abortion (which is my right) but this law is going a little too far. it is the woman's choice not the governments. who are they to act as god to say a woman can't abort a child who would have severe deformities or mental issues?
