I really hope they not only successfully clone and bring back the Mammoth species. But also open the door for other extinct animals to be brought back.  |

My interest is more scientific. There are numerous extinct animal and plant species we know almost nothing about. Bringing them back would give us a chance to study them at great length and presents an increased possibility of making medical advances that lead to curing disease. Having said that we still don't fully understand certain features of animals that still exist, eg the electric eel. Those things produce their own electricity and we still haven't worked out how to replicate this to societies advantage.
