Re: Girl, 6, Vanishes From Home
Police have said they are treating Isabel's case as a "suspicious disappearance" and were not ruling anything out, nor had they identified any suspects in the case". Besides, the parents the girl were allowed home on Tuesday, after after a search using FBI-trained dogs: i guess it's just just a matter of procedures, to both have to ask thousands of questions to her parents and keep away everybody but dogs and police during a search for olfactory evidences. I wouldn't say they are suspects, but even if they were, police wouldn't state it so clearly without some damning evidence in their hands http://news.yahoo.com/family-missing...215722254.html http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1448393.html Kidnapping Statistics |

Re: Girl, 6, Vanishes From Home
Believe it or not the parents always become suspects in these cases as in the past parents spewing out tears were the ones who had their child killed or got rid of the kid themselves.

Re: Girl, 6, Vanishes From Home
The parents usually are the suspects because they usually did it. Child abductions, though they seem to happen frequently, that do end up badly, not the usual non-custodial parent abductions, are quite rare. And we know the child is usually dead within three hours. |

Re: Girl, 6, Vanishes From Home
Exactly! If they save one child, since it's usually a family member or their friend who kills the child, it's worth it. If they're not found in 24-48 hours after a reported, "disappearance", the chances the child will be found decrease every minute. They need to get the word out faster! Was it Megan Kanka or Polly Klass who was killed by a guy people weren't aware was close to the child? There are so many, I get confused. SAD! |
