Homophobia is the preserve of the religious and the feeble minded. Obviously stupid people are susceptible to unfounded and irrational beliefs but I was trying to point out that religion is responsible for the more intelligent people having homophobic attitudes. Somehow religious belief is accepted by seemingly intelligent people and it distorts their views on issues of morality. |
