Re: Chronically-ill Dad Kills Himself with Electric Saw..
He wasn't completely unique - we vaguely knew the bloke in the story below. Still, there'll be plenty to follow him shortly, given that our glorious leaders want to save a couple more quid to pay for another one of Cameron's wine tasting trips. ![]() http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...e-1025503.html |

Re: Chronically-ill Dad Kills Himself with Electric Saw..
Guessing that the man was only capable of work that paid way less than the disability would, and he sensed that they would clear him. He probably could not perform his old wage job, didn't want to start as a part time cashier at a frozen yogurt shop or otherwise, or he knew that the constant struggle due to illness was unbearable yet ignore-able by his state masters. Fucking sickening all of it.

Re: Chronically-ill Dad Kills Himself with Electric Saw..
The only thing sickening about it is that he expected the tax payer to fund his life when he was physically able to support himself. Most people will take a free ride if offered, but I am only happy for my tax dollars to go to the few who really need it.

Re: Chronically-ill Dad Kills Himself with Electric Saw..
How are you so sure he didn't really need it? Can he touch his toes, pass a physical etc etc? Probably could, probably had a disease that is constant torment yet not textbook debilitating, probably had to jump through hoops to get benefits the first time due to this. And who is there when he gets the stamp of approval to work, a CEO or three waiting with open arms? No, the answer is nobody, they cut off a sick man and start him off with no work. Being obtuse and callous sure does make for a robust character, but does that make it really worth being as one dimensional as you seem to be? |
