This comes from a place of fear. This man wanted to do something in public, that was so heinous that it would land him in jail on purpose. This tells me that he was asking the government for protection, and they were not giving it to him, and he was running from something that he was so afraid of that he would actually commit this type of violence to be safe from what type of violence he in his mind thought was coming from him. This is a terrible tragedy, and I am so sad that these events unfolded this way. Whether his demons were real or in his mind, someone ignored his cry for help, and his need for containment. Someone dropped the ball hard... Fuck.  |

I wish more people were smart enough to realise the obvious instead of mindlessly worshipping some mentally ill dude and a storybook written 2.000-some years ago. We would be so much farther along as a society had these stupid cults not existed. Don't even get me started on heaven and hell and the arbitrary rules that decide which one you'll supposedly go to.
