The only thing worse than the, "church's punishment", is that the parents knew about it and allowed it to happen!

The only thing that bothers me about the death penalty is the innocent men killed. TX seems to rush it sometimes. I forget the man's name, but, he was accused of setting a fire that killed his wife and two young daughters. A few months after he was lethally injected, another man was freed due to the fact that the way they proved the burn pattern was flawed. It is now updated at the cost of an innocent man.

There are too many men, (I know of no women), who have been exonorated thanks to The Innocence Project and they cannot get their lost lives back. They get an apology from the state and have to start all over again with no modern day skills.

If a perp has a lengthy history of similar crimes, it's a pretty safe bet they have the right guy.
