Assassination Attempt On UK Government Critic
Ian Hislop, editor of the Private Eye publication has worked tirelessly for several decades to expose corruption within the British political system and Royal family. Many of the political elite are former fellow students of Hislop so he knows better than most how deep the corruption goes. According to several eyewitnesses he was shot at whilst sitting in a taxi in central London a few days ago but survived the attack. The driver reported hearing a loud bang and at the same moment the rear side window exploded, showering Mr Hislop with glass. The Met Police have investigated and have concluded that a rare mechanical fault caused the bang and made the window explode. They have not yet announced (but I'm sure they will eventually) that Mr Hislop is being charged with serious criminal offences and is likely to be imprisoned until he's dead. They tried it with Assange but it failed because of his global popularity. Hislop does not benefit from such fame. Watch this space. Some shit is going to go down soon. |

Re: Assassination Attempt On UK Government Critic
Sorry that may have been misleading, no reports of anyone seeing a gunman came in as far as I know. Just that police received several reports (according to the daily mail) suggesting a gun had been fired and a vehicle struck. The taxi driver was also convinced a gun had been used. The windows in black cabs are not electric. I can not think of any mechanical fault that would make a window explode. Can you ? |

What a load of conspiracy theorist nonsense!! His window imploded, it happens. He's being charged with nothing and there are zero reports of a shooting. Just the taxi driver said it sounded like a gun shot! Take your tin foil hat off!

Yes and no. In older cars, I've heard of windows shattering because of extreme temperature fluctuations. But nothing that would apply here. I'd love to know what it was. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's nothing weird going on here. |

Re: Assassination Attempt On UK Government Critic
He's the most sued person in British legal history and easily in the top ten of public enemies in the UK. And he is currently investigating the Epstein/Prince Andrew case. There are also several reports of a shooting, I even published one of them here. That's why I made this post. Do you think I make this shit up for fun ? I am not a conspiracy theorist. He is possibly the biggest whistleblower of Royal family and MP corruption in British history and might have been shot at, that's hardly an outlandish claim is it? |

Re: Assassination Attempt On UK Government Critic
I have no idea of what happened to Hislop, but if anyone doubts that journalists asking inconvenient questions about powerful people can end up dead I refer you to the case of Dorothy Kilgallen. https://allthatsinteresting.com/dorothy-kilgallen Also, Hislop is one of the stalwarts of the (original UK) TV show "Have I Got News for You" which, especially for the earlier years, was one of the funniest TV shows on the planet - even for those outside the UK who are less familiar with social/political context. Highly recommended. |

Re: Assassination Attempt On UK Government Critic
Saying that it's plausible for a journalist to be taken out is one thing. Immediately shoehorning that narrative into an innocuous incident and then making a bunch of sure proclamations and predictions is a different thing.
